Hand engraved on the barrels. 15 inches overall with 9 inch octagon barrels of approximately 69 caliber smooth bore. Half stocked with checkered grips mounted with belt hooks and single set triggers. Double gold bands at breach with gold markers cartouche. Waterproof pans and best quality throughout. The barrels show approximately 50 - 70% original brown and mercury stripping pattern. Considerable greyish case hardening with light original colors. The stocks are “crisp” and in near fine condition. The locks work very well and are mechanically sound. Contained in their original to the period mahogany case with simple English style carrying handle and brass fixtures.
Correct size flask, mold and rod are included. A fine set befitting a Scottish Baron or Lord.
