Two handed sword with running wolf and maker's mark on blade circa mid to late 17th century. Measuring approximately 6 feet from tip to end. Absolutely not a Victorian copy and shows large early pommel and early features. Old tag from David Condon circa 1992 included pricing this sword at $5200, with buyer's name (faded) on the tag. Deep uncleaned patina with wood grip half broken away and no wrap. 90% of the two-handed swords I see offered for sale are 19th or 20th century.
