Silver Hilted Small Sword Circa About 1750
Silver hilted small sword circa about 1750. Finely detailed hilt, guard and pommel decorated in suite with and light traces of gold gilt on the silver. The 3 sided triangular blade shows old cleaning and aging back. 39 inches overall with 32 inch blade (shortened 1 -3 inches) during period of use in our opinion. The silver is not “rubbed out” in European manner and crisp with uncleaned patina. (The way I like them -Pre- Whirlin’ wire!)
