Primitive American Belt or Bowie Style Knife
Primitive American belt or Bowie style knife with thin trade steel blade (possibly from saw) and antler handle. Hard rubber (Gutta Percha) pommel cut probably 1850’s - 60’s. 16 inches overall with 11 inch blade. 1 ¾ inches widest part approximately 2 inches from semi-clipped point. Blade uncleaned with light rust and minor pitting. The “right” beaded or buck skin scabbard would add greatly.
