Actual sword carried and used by Ingrid Bergman in golden age of film classic (Joan of Arc). Included in this lot is an original movie poster featuring Bergman holding this sword. Copyright RKO pictures 1946 number 48 of 1,456 printed by Morgan litho with other printers information. The poster measures approximately 39 inches by 25 ½ inches and is in near fine condition showing very slight aging and is well framed. The prop sword has aluminum blade and has wrapped leather grip in archaic style. Approximately 34 ¼ inches from tip to end 2 inches wide at the widest part of the blade. 5 knights crosses engraved on blade and 8 inches across the guard. This sword obtained by noted collector Joseph Musso from Hollywood prop house 40 years ago and displayed in his private museum with the Essex sword, John Wayne memorabilia, The Iron Mistress knives and his extensive lifetime collection. Was $5,900 now $3,680.
