Iron and Carved Wood “Gypsy” Wagon Bumper
Hand wrought iron and carved wood “Gypsy” wagon bumper circa 19th century or earlier. Ornate iron work showing folk scenes and warrior helmets. Wood portion shows men in armor battling and the name “Fratelli Dacata A Cisantonio” beneath. Approximately 14 inches height by 40 inches in width. The condition is good with some rust and pitting and normal age. The finest bumper of this type we could find in any publication and the only showing warriors and arms.
